The comprehensive interview titled “Losses in Mountain Glaciers and Their Impacts on the Climate System,” conducted by Anadolu Agency with our faculty member Prof. Dr. Orhan İnce, has been published. The interview highlights the effects of the rapid melting of mountain glaciers, within the scope of International Mountain Day, on water resources, ecosystems, food security, and regional risks. It also presents scientific findings obtained within the TerrArctic Mega Grant Project.

This work contributes to the national and international visibility of our department in the fields of climate and environmental sciences and plays an important role in accurately communicating the scientific activities carried out under the TerrArctic Project to the public.
